What comes to mind when you think of the world you’re creating?

My novel takes place on a habitable planet far from Earth that has been colonized for a few hundred years. I’m in the process of trying to visualize how that might look like.

The protagonist and narrator of the story is a very curious android who has never known anything but the inside of a colonists' ship, so everything seems new to him.
